Whether you are struggling in your relationship or dealing with depression and anxiety, I am glad you decided to look for help. I believe that having someone who truly understands your difficulties can fundamentally improve your life. My goal is to help you find yourself and reach your potential by both providing you with a warm and accepting environment and by challenging you.
I have had many years of experience of working with individuals from all walks of life dealing with symptoms of depression, anxiety, substance abuse, trauma, and interpersonal difficulties. I worked with adults, adolescents, and children in inpatient and outpatient hospital settings, a substance abuse recovery clinic, and a college counseling center.
Having moved from Israel as a young adult, I am familiar with the challenges of those who straddle two worlds. I care deeply about helping you build a sense of belonging and find their unique voice, and I pay attention to the role your culture and intersecting identities play in your life. I have presented my research and clinical work at national conferences, with a specific interest in what makes therapy helpful and how to best train future therapists.
