I believe having someone who truly understands our difficulties can fundamentally improve our lives. My aim is to provide a warm and accepting environment where we can collaborate and explore your goals and build a deeper connection to yourself and others.
I have been fortunate to work with individuals from all walks of life dealing with symptoms of depression, anxiety, substance abuse, trauma, and interpersonal difficulties. I worked with adults, adolescents, and children in inpatient and outpatient hospital settings, a substance abuse recovery clinic, and a college counseling center.
Having moved from Israel as a young adult, I am familiar with the challenges of those who straddle two worlds. I care deeply about helping my clients build a sense of belonging and find their unique voice, and I pay attention to the role their culture and intersecting identities play in their lives. I have presented my research and clinical work at national conferences, with a specific interest in what makes therapy helpful and how to best train future therapists.
