Group Starting Date To Be Determined
This group is for women of all ages (18+) in all phases of the coming out process, who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, queer or questioning. Genderqueer and trans women are welcome.
Participants are invited to share their life experiences, challenges and aspirations and give and receive support in a safe environment with other women of all ages who are at different stages in their coming out journey.
Topics covered will include but are not restricted to:
- coming out to oneself, family, friends
- coming out at work
- living authentically
- getting to know the LGBT community
- dating and relationships

LEADER: Merav Segal, LMSW
Merav is an expert in working with adults and families in LGBT community. She is trained in the relational and psychodynamic approaches, as well as Cognitive Behavioral therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy, and brings mindfulness into my work with clients. She specializes in helping individuals and couples through difficult transition periods in their lives, and has worked with couples who are struggling with issues of monogamy/non monogamy, long-distance and sero-discordance. She has experience in helping both heterosexual and LGBTQ individuals and couples overcome obstacles to reach a more intimate, connected relationship, and can help with issues of parenting and step-parenting, as well as navigating the challenges with parenting special needs children. She is experienced in working with clients struggling with gender identity, sexual identity, coming out and sexual issues.
